  • Add half a teaspoon of honey.
  • Strain the prepared milk.
  • Drink it while it’s warm.

Precautions

  • Taking too much turmeric milk can be harmful for some people. Consult your physician before starting to drink turmeric milk. Overdose of turmeric milk can cause heartburn, indigestion, diarrhea, nausea, liver troubles, internal bleeding, hyperacticve gallbladder contraction, low blood pressure, alopecia or baldness and disturbances in menstruation.
  • Some people might be allergic to turmeric milk. Some common allergic reactions reported are mild and itchy rashes, typically on the neck or face.
  • Pregnant ladies should avoid taking too much of turmeric. It can cause uterine wall contractions.
