Shankh Mudra for Thyroid, Stammering, Restlessness Shankh means conch in India. In this Hand Mudra, we have to use both the hands to form a conch shape. So, it is called as Shankh Mudra or Seashell Mudra. Mudra means Gesture or Seal. As per Yoga, Thumb represents fire element. Index finger represents Air element. Middle finger represents Sky element. Ring finger represents earth element.
